There are so many times in life where we find ourselves unsure of what something’s about. We get all confused and so we resort to research. It’s habitual. Research clears things up, gives us a new perspective what we’re facing, and gets us ready for that next step. – after all that’s why we say “let’s Google it!” Wherever you’re at right now why not explore what faith is all about? There’s nothing really to lose and who knows what you might discover?

So without a million people around or any judgement, feel free to take a look and explore this space.

The Bible

The Bible is statistically one of the most read books in the world, solidly ahead of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Like any great book it is definitely worth the read. There are so many great things to find while you’re exploring what faith is all about!

So with all that said if you’re keen on reading the Bible, then we would highly recommend The Message version. It’s so easy to read and follow, and has no tricky ‘Shakespeare-like’ jargon to get your tongue or mind twisted. Here are some places to easily track one down.

You are GOLD

One of the biggest things to know about having faith is that you are never alone. For good times and bad, you will always have someone next to you giving you strength when you feel like you have none, protection when you feel unsafe, or someone who will just listen to you if you’re upset.

Without realising it most people out there already know this because when a significant traumatic event happens, you always hear people saying that they’re praying for something.

For us as women you need to know that you are loved. God loves you and will always be there for you. No matter what. You don’t have to do anything to earn it, and you especially can’t do anything to lose it. He’s always got your back and is with you every step of the way – whether you believe or not.

So keep exploring and do what you need to do. This is your life and you are in control.

The good news is that no matter what is happening, there is always a way to turn things around. Here are some tips to get that support you need no matter where you call home.

  1. Talk to someone you trust and share your journey.
  2. Call a helpline and go online.
  3. Talk to your local doctor.
  4. Listen to music.
  5. Do something that ‘fills your tank.’
